Tambah Buses, Forbid private cars!!!
Saya sudah menjadi warga Jakarta for nearly 5 years. Saya sangat sayangkan kurangnya sadarnya Jakarta's city council of the importance of transportation infrastructures. Harusnya dari dahulu dibangun macam subway atau monorel, lebih manfaat, tapi apalah daya? Baiklah, sudah terlanjur.
Just want to give those council an advise, bila ingin berhasil dengan busway, tambah buses! Tidak mungkin people akan berguna ke busway bila buses hanya 1 per 30 minutes, mark my words, it's not going to work! You guys should add more buses so people can travel comfortably and efficiently.
Dan juga! You guys should mark this! Jangan beri permit kepada private cars untuk gunakan busway line, akan chaos! Apa guna busway line specialty bila nantinya akan diguna juga oleh private cars? Tidak akan berhasil. Jadi jangan beri permit! Camkan itu, governor!
And one more thing, as what I've learned in London, kamu sebaik buat transport works pada malam hari, untuk kurang traffic jam. It's better to conduct projects in the night, to avoid catastrophic jam in Jakarta!

I agreed to Graham Woods, that Governor of Jakarta must forbid Private Cars and Motorbike enter to Busway. And it must be run by his subordinate, including the regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya) without any compromise about the traffic disruption. Giving punishment to indiscipline cars, motorbike and public transport whatever they did will make it example meaning of discipline. If situation on the field cannot make the action done, just record the number (vehicle number) and give the copy by postmail directly to the owner to attend the court.
And it's program has been helped by many industries (and/or complex) by provide bus transport to help their employee reach their office and back to their home. It's good because it reduce the usage of private cars and motorcycle.
But unfortunately, some people didn't agree about that. Most of them are personnel of public transport car (angkot) that they have their income was reduced by industries program. Then, they stopped the industries transport, and hit the transport. And the Police (that their motto : Melindungi dan melayani = Protect and Serve) did not do anything. Just watching without any preventive action while they (the riots) get their party.
Well.. What instances that we, people of Jakarta hope and trust? no one... Police?? nope... DLLAJ?? nope... Local government?? nope..

sedih juga ya pilihannya
sedih juga ya pilihannya memang cuma ada busway. mo bikin busway kyknya koq ya terlalu muluk2 (dan serem juga saya takut kelelep kalo lagi musim banjir... hiiy...).
bapak2 polisi & dllaj harusnya lebih tegas supaya ngga ada yg mobil/motor pribadi nggak masuk jalur busway. tapi boleh juga dibebaskan pada jam diluar jam servis busway seperti pada malam hari (> jam 10 malam).
